Washing & Care instructions for T-shirts
-
Before the first wash: Do not wash the t-shirt for the first 5 days after receiving the product. This ensures the proper settling of the environmentally friendly ink and preserves the print quality.
-
Washing temperature: Wash the t-shirt at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Higher temperatures may cause the fabric to shrink or damage the ink.
-
Gentle detergent: Use a mild and environmentally friendly detergent when washing the t-shirt. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, as they can be harmful to both the fabric and the printed design.
-
Hand wash or delicate cycle: To extend the life of the print, it is recommended to either hand wash the t-shirt or use the delicate cycle on your washing machine. This reduces friction and helps maintain the ink's vibrancy.
-
Avoid tumble drying: Do not tumble dry the t-shirt. Instead, let it air dry naturally. Tumble drying can lead to shrinking, fading, or cracking of the print.
-
Slightly acidic odor: The environmentally friendly ink used in printing may produce a slightly acidic odor initially. This is normal and should disappear after the first wash. Washing the t-shirt as instructed will help eliminate the odor while preserving the quality of the print.
Following these washing instructions will help ensure the longevity and appearance of your t-shirt while minimizing its impact on the environment.
